U19
Most U19 players are typically Freshman in college. DASC is excited to be able to offer those players a soccer environment when they return from college. Below is some information about our U19 competitive program.
If you are a U19 player who is currently in high school, you can participate in the training and match up league games with the U18 program. Please see the U15-U18 Competitive tab on the left to view information and cost associated with the U18 age group.
For Information About the U19 Age Group or If Your Son or Daughter is Interested in Playing Please Contact Ginger Parson-McGill (girls coach) at gingerp@dakotalliancesoccer.com or 605-376-0216 or Steve Burckhalter (competitive director) at steveb@dakotaalliancesoccer.com or 605-376-0227.
Tryouts
Players from past DASC teams will be contacted to so if they are intersted in playing. Other players may also be contacted to round out rosters. The most competitve players will be picked to do the best at Spring/Summer events.
Philosophy for U19 DASC teams
Age group philosophy; emphasis on team preparation for developmentally appropriate competitive events. May include but not limited to college showcase events, top tier competitive tournaments and Regionals.
Team Formation:
Ideally, the club would like to organize teams of 16 - 18 players. Number of teams is based on the number of players that come to tryouts. The club would like to put together teams based on ability (A, B and C). The club would like to have only one team participate at state cup for each of these age groups. Each team will be managed and trained by a head coach assigned by the organization.
Spring / Summer
~ 4 weeks / ~ 12 to 16 training sessions
Plus Tournaments
The U19 Girls teams could play in 3 to 4 events, depending on availability. Likely tournaments chosen would be from the following list below:
South Dakota State Cup - TBD

Dakota Alliance Invitational - 2nd weekend in June - Sioux Falls, SD
Region II Tournament - 4th weekend in June
