Dakota Alliance Soccer Club Junior Academy is an instructional soccer program designed to develop the “I”ndividual skills of the player born in 2010. The Jr. Academy provides players an opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer in a fun and developmentally appropriate environment. The training sessions are specifically designed to teach the base technical skills: Dribbling – Passing – Shooting. These players will have already played in the league and have demonstrated an ability to play at a more advanced level. This is not a program for the 1st time soccer player!!
The training sessions will also address a player’s decision-making within individual and small group tactics: 1v1 Attacking/Defending and Combination play. Age Appropriate Training Curriculum
A player can choose which Junior Academy programs they would like to participate in - only register for one:
Junior Academy Training - $65
Players will enroll as a Jr. Academy Training member. This is a supplemental program to the Recreational Program. Players will also register for the Recreational league also - $65. This program is designed for players who want more formal instruction and coaching while playing on their Recreational Team. A central location will announced once the training roster has been formalized.
The Jr. Academy is designed to meet the developmental needs of those boys and girls who have a heightened interest in soccer. These players must have already played and have demonstrated an ability to play at a more advanced level. We welcome all players who desire a program that will challenge them to master existing skills and learn new skills.
Frank will be the primary instructor for the DASC Jr. Academy. Frank brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the Academy.
