Teams are formed by gender, attending school, geographic location (preschool only), and school grade. 

We do not allow predetermined individual roster selection. All teams for the Fall are formed at random based on the criteria above. We do not look back at previous season rosters nor do we take in any requests surrounding team placement.

No tryouts are necessary - just make sure to re-register each season by the guaranteed placement date to ensure your participation.  Guaranteed placement date for the FALL 2025 season is July 14th, 2025. **No refunds will be given after the initial registration end date.

Minimum age requirements: Players must have turned 4 before September 1 of 2025.  Example for Fall of 2025: players birthday is August 31, 2021 or earlier, they are eligible for Fall 2025.  If a player has a birthday September 1, 2021 or later, they are not eligible for Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.

All coaches are volunteers and team shirts are provided. All games are played locally at fields in Sioux Falls.

Games are generally played anytime on Saturdays and after 1PM on Sundays (U5/U6 will not play on Sundays). Games may also be held on Monday, Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings. Teams will generally play one game per week during the season. The Fall 2025 season will start the first week of September and is finished by October 31st, 2025.

Competitive Players -Players who participate at any level of Competitive Soccer (within, or outside of DASC) are not allowed to participate in DASC Recreational Leagues simultaneously.  No player can play in the Adult League simultaneously. 

The only required costs associated with the recreational league are the registration fees for the season.

• Preschool (U5) - 2nd grade (U8): $90 per player
• 3rd grade (U9) - 4th grade (U10): $100 per player
• 5th - 8th grade (U12-U14): $110 per player
• 9th-12th grade (High School=U19): not offered during the Fall

ARE THE GAMES STILL ON? WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation/Postponement of Play decisions will be made by 4:00PM on Weekdays and by 7:30AM on Saturdays. AND/OR as needed.

If no Cancellation notice - assume your games will continue as scheduled. If inclement weather or any other factor prohibits play at the fields - notifications and a plan of how we progress will be sent.

Recreational Director

No refunds will be given once the initial registration has ended. If you request a refund after the deadline, your reasoning will be reviewed by the Recreational Director.
