Safety First

Our commitment is keeping young players safe, as well as everyone who participates in soccer from coaches to parents to referees.  Below you'll find our safe practices as well as member guidelines to follow throughout this summer and fall.

Safe Practices

Teams are formed by attending school, geographic location (preschool only), and school grade. Team Rosters remain as consistent as possible for 2 seasons (Fall - Spring). Teams are then disbanded over the summer and new teams are formed for the next Fall season.  No tryouts are necessary - just make sure to re-register each season by the guaranteed placement date to ensure your participation.  Guaranteed placement date for the Spring 2025 season is February 14th, 2025. **No refunds will be given after the initial registration end date.

Minimum age requirements: Players must have turned 4 before September 1 of 2024.  Example for Spring of 2025: players birthday is August 31, 2020 or earlier, they are eligible for Spring 2025.  If a player has a birthday September 1, 2020 or later, they are not eligible for Spring 2025.

All coaches are volunteers and team shirts are provided. All games are played locally at fields in Sioux Falls. Games are generally played anytime on Saturdays and after 1PM on Sundays (U5/U6 will not play on Sundays). Games may also be held on Monday, Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings. Teams will generally play one game per week during the season. The Spring 2025 season will start on Monday, April 7th and is finished by June 2nd, 2025

Competitive Players -Players who participate at any level of Competitive Soccer (within, or outside of DASC) are not allowed to participate in DASC Recreational Leagues simultaneously.

The only required costs associated with the recreational league are the registration fees for the season.

  • Preschool - 2nd grade: $90 per player
  • 3rd grade - 4th grade: $100 per player
  • 5th - 8th grade: $110 per player
